Having gown up members of the elite California Golf Club of San Francisco, the bride knew it was the perfect place to host her special day. The history, the beautiful views, this venue really has it all!
Nestled on the property is a show stopping colonial club house perfect for hosting celebrations of any size. And this Cal Club wedding was one for the books! 200 guests came in for this Gatsby inspired soiree. Guests played along with the theme by dressing in their best 1920’s inspired apparel.
The Details
The bride and groom wanted to make their wedding unique. The bride’s love for vintage 1920’s style was a must when it came to designing the overall event. Vintage newspaper save the dates gave the guests a first look at the theme and from there, the excitement built.
On the day of, the details were endless. Pampas grass lined the ceremony altar and created a nice focal point at the end of the aisle. Gold chiavari chairs perfectly lined the aisle way. The bridesmaids looked stunning in blush beaded dresses and vintage hairstyles created by Fox and Doll.
The guests experience was exceptional. From boas in the photo booth to custom etched golf ball markers as favors, guests were wowed by the attention to detail. Dinner tables were set with romantic beaded linens, white china and deep burgundy blooms. Custom etched thank you notes were gently placed at every seat. Such a nice personal touch for guests!
Guests enjoyed an extravagant seafood bar equipped with vintage crate ice sculptures to hold the crab legs and oysters. After dinner, some guests enjoyed cigars on the outdoor patio while others danced the night away to a 10-piece band.
This California Golf Club of San Francisco wedding was definitely one for the books!
