Bernardus Lodge Wedding

Summer wedding at Bernardus Lodge in Carmel Valley produced by the top wedding planner, Creative Flow Co. Cynthia West Martin enhanced the beautiful garden setting with a romantic ceremony and reception design for this Carmel wedding. Florals are provided by Cassia Foret, photography is provided by Lynn Dunston, and Rentals provide by Chic Event Rentals.

June in Carmel Valley is such a beautiful time and the Rose Garden setting at Bernardus Lodge is in full bloom. The summer sun beamed over guests as they smiled under parasols while watching the bride and groom say “I DO”.

Guest Experience

Guests were shuttled over to the venue from the host hotel in Monterey and saw beautiful scenic views of Carmel Valley on the way. Pulling up the driveway at Bernardus Lodge the feel of luxury is evident. Guests were greeted by the beautiful blooming landscape. Quaint pathways lead the way to the ceremony in the Rose Garden. Parasols and fans were passed out to keep guests comfortable while awaiting the bridal party to process.

Reception Setting

Guests enjoyed cocktail hour on the Croquet Lawn while playing bocce ball and sipping signature cocktails and wine provided by Brown Winery. Vendors worked meticulously to flip the Rose Garden from ceremony to an inviting dinner space where guests watched the sunset over the Carmel Valley mountains. Romantic candlelight and beautiful blooms accented the tablescape. The setting was romantic, transformative, and exciting all in one! Guests ended the night dancing in the Meritage Ballroom, the perfect ending to a perfect day.

With 150 guests coming into town from all over the country, we made sure to create a showstopping design, and a night everyone was sure to remember. Bernardus Lodge is a beautiful destination venue nestled in the rolling hills of Carmel Valley. With tons of things to do in the area, is the best place to host a weekend away.
